Provided leadership and strategic direction for all marketing activities including new product launches, brand management, marketing communications, PR, advertising, direct marketing, catalog development, and Web / Digital / Social Media activities.
  • Conceived, created, launched, and led several "first's" for the company and Industry:
  • Digital & Social Media Strategy -Responsible for launching a full spectrum digital and social media strategy to increase product and brand awareness, deepen customer relationships, and enhance the company's online presence, including: customer-focused web site redesign, online catalog enhancements, micro-sites, video, QR codes, mobile marketing, e-mail marketing, customer specific web sites, and social media sites.
  • Auto-Ship & Customer Email Marketing - FIRST-TO-STOCK™ program auto-ships new product monthly and sends private label emails on behalf of our customers to their customers. Greatly reduced the sales cycle time by several months and created product awareness and pull-through for our customers. This program was an "Industry first" for the Automotive Aftermarket.
  • Lead Generation - Developed an integrated lead generation nurturing and conversion program (BE-THE-FIRST-TO-KNOW™) for new product awareness. Grew leads database from 2,000 to over 45,000 - a 2150% increase.
  • Email Marketing - Created an email marketing strategy, delivering improvements in delivery, open, click-through and conversion rates. New product announcements sent to over 45,000 on a monthly basis with an average open rate of over 42% - exceeding the industry average by 22%.
  • Virtual Tradeshow - To leverage the company's annual tradeshow budget. Increased awareness to the company's products by approximately 13,000 viewers. This Virtual Tradeshow was also an "Industry first" for the Automotive Aftermarket.
  • Created, developed and led a strategic and integrated marketing and communication platform designed to competitively position the company's product offering, drive lead generation, reduce the company's sales cycle, and reinforce the company's reputation as a distinctive product and innovation leader.
